Cricket Melanie is a calm gentle mare that has recently
completed her basic training as a trail or pleasure horse.
She will stand quietly for tacking up and mounting or dismounting
and responds quickly to cues. Melanie measures 14.3 hands,
but has so much substance she appears much larger. Her cannon
bones measure 7.5 inches in front and 8.5 in the rear and
she has large strong hooves. She has produced 2 foals, a
grey Stakes placed filly and a colt now 2 yrs old that is
destined for the race track. Melanie will be a good broodmare
for someone looking to produce Arabian racing or endurance
foals. She not only looks like an endurance horse, she has
the big strong trot of a top competitor. Melanie is for
sale, because her owner is moving out of state and needs
to sell several horses before the move.
